Prevention and Education Programs
  • Studies from the Centers for Substance
Abuse Prevention (CSAP) have shown that
    early and consistent prevention programs
help reduce alcohol and drug use and
    abuse.
  • A Coulee Council on Addictions survey of
middle school students showed that the
students who participated in the RO Bear
(now 3D) program for 4 years were less
likely to try or use alcohol, tobacco, and
    drugs.
  • Coulee Council on Addictions offers free
    prevention programs for schools and
    community agencies.
  • Presentations may be for school groups,
parent groups, or community groups.  Just
